Director of Nursing (DON)

Twilight Haven, a multi-level senior living facility located in the heart of the Central Valley is seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing (DON) to join its dynamic management team of healthcare professionals. This position will be responsible for directly managing the health delivery system to ensure optimum quality of care and quality of life for all residents.

Reporting directly to the Administrator, the Director of Nursing will assist administration in the communication and assurance of adherence to all applicable regulations and policies and procedures, provide direct assessment and documentation of resident needs, and will also hire, train, and supervise staff on health-related duties and responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years’ clinical & nursing management experience. Registered Professional Nurse (RN) with current California state license is required. Current CPR Certification is also required. BSN Preferred. Must have experience working in long-term care; knowledge and experience working with memory care is highly desirable. Experience in nursing systems and development of educational/in-service programs is desired. Must possess clinical competency in standards of care and be familiar with adult patients/residents with multiple chronic co-morbidities and gero-psychiatric diagnosis and common treatment modalities. Position requires passing all required clearances, including but not limited to, DOJ clearance and a physical.
