Career Evolutions is searching for a Financial Systems Manager (Hyperion Essbase) with an international tech company in Phoenix, AZ. It’s a full-time, direct-hire opportunity with a total compensation up to $150,000 + Excellent Benefits.
If you’re currently working as a Hyperion Essbase subject-matter-expert (SME) with a background as a Sr. Financial Analyst or Finance Manager and has a passion for ERP systems implementations and is looking to join a global tech company where you will have a direct impact on the entire organization around the world then this may be the right opportunity for you.
This is a high visibility role as you will serve as the go-to financial business partner and advisor assisting subsidiaries as well as group functions and leaders to manage their business performance by improving efficiency and driving growth.
You serve as a Hyperion Essbase SME supporting an ongoing ERP financial systems implementation and liaise with external partners regarding financial systems matters. You will contribute to design, testing and implementation of next-generation ERP, CRM and BI systems and process improvements. Help build and maintain cube logic. And, assess business cases for new products, services and customer contracts.
You are responsible for creating, evaluating, tracking and reporting financial goals / outcomes. Ensuring data quality and transparency, you will report actual and plan future business performance with full P&L as well as profitability by product, project and customer and operational KPI. You will run, validate and improve such financial systems processes as budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, etc.
You contribute to the medium term planning process and represent in business unit (BU) performance and strategy reviews. You will build and develop strong relationships and maintain communication channels to divisional, functional and/or regional management to pro-actively drive fact-based business decisions. And you will partner with other members on the team to generate top management monthly reporting pack and provide insight on deviations.
You have a strong history of planning, organizing, and coordinating the long-term and daily management of the company’s financial systems. You thrive in a cooperative setting that will see you grow important organizational relationships. You believe in taking ownership of what you do and you feel a need to deliver work that will lead to department, subsidiary and overall company growth. You enjoy traveling up to 15% in the USA as well as Europe, Asia, and South America.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business / Finance and also MBA / MIS degree required
5+ years’ experience working in an international management consulting environment or an international background working as a Financial or Controller professional
Expert level Hyperion Oracle Essbase experience is required, certifications is preferred
Hands-on ERP implementation experience, i.e. Hyperion, MS Dynamics AX, NetSuite
Advanced Excel user and strong analytical and “get it done” solution-driven mind-set
Able to partner and work in matrixed organizational structures
Excellent attention to detail, organizational and prioritization skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, other languages (French, German, Italian, Spanish)
A strong international and multicultural mindset with up to 15% travel
