Career Evolutions is searching for a Compensation & Benefits Manager with a tech company in Phoenix, AZ. It’s a full-time, direct-hire opportunity with a total compensation up to $130,000 + Excellent Benefits.

If you’re currently working as a Sr. Compensation & Benefits Analyst or Total Rewards Analyst and looking to take that next step and join an international tech company where you will have a direct impact on the organization around the nation then this may be the right opportunity for you.

You will own the planning, vision, compliance and development of competitive Benefit & Reward Programs for several US entities around the nation.

You will lead and manage the administration of company sponsored health, welfare and retirement plans. And manage a highly competitive 401k plan, including Plan Administrator duties, plan quarterly meetings with the committee and all ongoing compliance, reporting and filing requirements. You will also lead and develop all benefit, including 401k, education campaigns for employees to ensure that everyone is getting the most out of their company-sponsored programs. And you will own, develop and deliver comprehensive Employee Wellness Program. 

You have the overall accountability for timely submission and accuracy with ACA compliance and reporting activities. You will ensure company policies and protocols are in compliance with all relevant regulations, examples: ERISA, ACA-related, HIPPA, records management, etc. Roll-out regional compensation-related management and staff training programs. Maintains a thorough understanding of current employment law and HR best practices to interpret applicability with current internal and external staff, locations and company policies. Supervise relevant audits and discrimination testing.

You will participate in external compensation and trend surveys for relevant geographies. Partner with Corporate Compensation & Benefit team in Europe for annual surveys. Help manage annual compensation review process and provide support to HR Business Partners and managers. Provide guidance and recommendations to Business Partners and Managers around job analysis, job descriptions and appropriate compensation benchmarking, including ad-hoc reporting as required.

Partner with benefits brokers to assess and analyze current trends and self-funded financial performance of company benefit plans; provide regular reporting and strategic recommendations based on company & employee requirements and fiscal drivers.

You will also oversee benefit system administration processes to ensure data integrity across multiple systems and providers. Participate in new-module launches of HRIS tool, including testing and feedback and project lead new implementations as needed.

You enjoy serving as a business partner for a small client group on aspects of HR/People programs and support the delivery of such programs. You enjoy solving problems with a solution-oriented approach. Assist with onboarding activities for new-hires as needed and provide general support while building a HR “culture of excellence”.

You have a solid Compensation & Benefit background with the ability to build strong partnerships with team members across locations and all levels of staff. You will be the subject-matter expert (SME) in the area of compensation & rewards, benefit design and administration, and a solid systems (HRIS) background. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR Management, or equivalent; Master’s degree a plus
  • 4+ years hands-on experience with Compensation & Benefits preferably in a tech company environment
  • Previous experience & advanced knowledge of HRIS systems
  • Possess the creativity and the ability to launch and manage wellness programs is a must
  • Self-starter with strong leadership and presence as well as multi-cultural experience and sensitivity
  • Prior experience with Radford Salary Surveys is preferred
  • Strong operational and “get it done” solution-driven mind-set
  • Able to partner and work in matrixed and complex organizational structures
  • Advanced Excel, data, and analytical abilities and skills
  • HR certification is a plus and other languages (French, German, Spanish) is an asset
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational and prioritization skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Up to 10% travel
