Full-Time Human Resources Generalist

Are you an HR specialist seeking new challenges in a professional and exciting team environment? Sierra HR Partners is currently searching for a service-oriented self-starter who can partner with clients from a wide range of industries and help manage their human resource needs.

In the capacity of a generalist, this position will provide professional level recruitment and background check services to clients. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Working with hiring managers to create and implement recruiting plans;
• Implementing sourcing activities;
• Reviewing resumes, pre-screening candidates, and coordinating interview schedules and appropriate assessments;
• Administering applicant tracking system to enter data and track progress;
• Performing background checks which includes verifying employment, references, and education, conducting criminal and civil records research, and other appropriate job- related searches;
• Producing legally compliant reports;
• Preparing offer letters and coordinating on-boarding activities;
• Performing other special projects in the HR field, including handbook updates and job descriptions as needed.

• Minimum five years’ experience in a professional HR capacity;
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field;
• PHR, PHR-CA preferred
