Android Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop key Android application features
• Assist with the implementation of the app’s user interface design
• Unit testing, functional testing, and bug fixes
• Participate in design and code reviews
• Follow and enhance existing development processes
• Help mentor other software engineers

Requirements

• Applied experience developing Android apps using Java (1-2 years)
• Solid understanding of Java, the Android SDK and Android Studio required
• Experience using version control repositories such as Git.
• Self-motivated, team-oriented, responsible, and reliable with a positive attitude
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to interact with various levels of personnel ranging from end users to management
• Established portfolio of work and/or code samples
• Comfortable in a fast-pace, entreprenurial work environment
