Microsoft Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) SME

Annapolis Junction, MD

Talent Orchard is seeking an experienced Microsoft Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) Subject Matter Expert for a program in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. This is a W-2 Contract role.

Responsibilities:

• Provide server administration for Microsoft 2012R2 (and later) Active Directory environment.
• Operate, maintain and enhance Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).
• Ensure packages and patches are deploying to workstation and server target machines. 
• Develop procedures to troubleshoot failed distributions or failed package deployments. 
• Help maintain 100% patch saturation. 
• Perform root-cause-analysis to unearth problems, and engineer the changes required to eliminate them.
• Recommend system enhancements, optimize systems for performance and implement approved changes.
• Interoperate with host-based security (HBSS).   

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands on Microsoft Systems and Server Administration experience
• Ability to operate, maintain and enhance Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
• Require 8570 baseline cert + compute environment cert.
• ​Ability to obtain Tier 4 Public Trust.
