Our client is an enabler of the Internet of Things (IoT) and a top recognized provider of private 4G LTE networks for Oil & Gas, Electric Utility and Public Safety. They provide the first end-to-end, standards based, "plug and play” network, eliminating the frustrations associated with scaling and managing proprietary communications technology.

They are currently seeking an HSE/HR Administrator to join their growing team!

Position Summary

This role will encompass dual responsibilities of both Health and Safety as well as Human Resources for the Corporate office.  Objectives and goals will include developing corporate HSE programs, coordinate safety training programs, ensure compliance with Federal and State health and safety regulations and develop policies to promote occupational health and safety awareness (OSHA).     HR responsibilities will include maintaining the integrity of personnel records and HR related documents including handbooks and onboarding guidelines, processing payroll, offer letters, new employee orientation, and maintaining working knowledge and understanding of Federal and State employment laws.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Vehicle and Driver safety program (Non-DOT)
  • Behavior Based Safety program development and training
  • Workplace incident investigations
  • Work-alone field personnel policies and procedures
  • Maintain current and accurate company information on a variety of online HSE portals (ISNetworld, PEC Safety, Rig Up, etc.)
  • Maintain record keeping for customer compliance through NCMS and the company’s drug and alcohol policy.
  • Understands federal and state occupational safety and health regulations and monitors regulatory changes as they occur
  • Prepare or maintain employment records related to events, such as hiring, termination, PTO, transfers, or promotions, using human resources management system software.
  • Interpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations.
  • Hire employees and process hiring-related paperwork.
  • Inform job applicants of details such as duties and responsibilities, compensation, benefits, schedules, working conditions, or promotion opportunities.
  • Address employee relations issues, such as harassment allegations, work complaints, or other employee concerns.
  • Review for accuracy & distribute bi-weekly timesheets for hourly employees to mangers and submit for processing to PEO.
  • Review and submit salaried employee semi-monthly payroll
  • Work closely with PEO (Professional Employer Organization)

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of safety program coordinator/management
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of HR administration experience
  • Proficiency with MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
