JUNIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER

Our client is a dynamic Energy Services Company that is dedicated to providing a complete solution servicing the oil, gas and petrochemical sectors.  Their manufacturing and supply centers are strategically located throughout the UK, together with facilities in USA, Europe and the Middle East.  They are currently seeking an outstanding Account Manager to join their team!   

JOB PURPOSE:

Conducts sales and account management activities to accomplish sales plans within established policies and procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Manage assigned accounts, including daily sales negotiations (quoting, negotiating, problem resolution).
  • Initiate and monitor new programs in account development process.
  • Execute the sales plans within order fulfillment process and best practices.
  • Maximize gross margin on all transactions.
  • Contribute to performance improvements in all areas including sales, logistics & customer service; monitor industry developments and Best Practices.
  • Engage the customer, in unison with the Quality Group, to resolve NCR’s/complaints.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with external and internal customers within the assigned account base.
  • Implement daily pricing strategy.
  • Facilitate efforts with CSR’s to ensure superior customer service levels are achieved (internally and externally).
  • Participate in coordinating improvement efforts with internal customers.
  • Represent the company at customers’ various events and in customer meetings.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and corporate policy and regulations

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of company policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing/operation/logistics capabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of market trends, market drivers, and supply chain.
  • Ability to employ negotiating strategies and gather market intelligence.
  • Thorough knowledge of product performance, applications.
  • Well developed communicating and negotiating skills with internal/external customers.
  • Ability to balance business objectives and customer’s needs.

Qualifications​

  • Previous experience in an Account Management role
  • Ideally 3-5 years of experience 
  • Proficient computer, written and oral communications skills.
  • Proficient internal and external conflict resolution skills.
