Talent Orchard has been retained by DEI as their outsourced recruiting organization to manage their hiring process and we have an exciting new opportunity for a Junior-Level IT Asset Management Analyst with an active Secret Clearance for a newly awarded program with a DoD Customer in Alexandria, VA.

Role:

The IT Asset Management Analyst will manage, control, and protect the Customer’s hardware and software IT assets throughout their life cycle, from acquisition through final disposition. This includes working with IT staff and Agency leadership to ensure timely delivery of assets to enable our business to function in a seamless and secure manner.  Specifically, the role will operate as a key part of the IT Support Team to ensure proper inventory levels, track asset location and condition, and control the shipping and receiving of IT Assets. In addition, this position will maintain as Asset Database, and coordinate the return/replacement of damaged assets and inspect hardware for usability upon its return. The IT Support Analyst must have the ability to research hardware and software trends and they will be the point person for all hardware/software purchases.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the Customer’s IT hardware asset portfolio with respect acquisition, deployment, utilization, tracking, security, and final disposition of IT assets.
• Assist in the planning and implementation of IT hardware asset life cycle strategy; advise Procurement and IT Operations in procurement strategies for IT hardware acquisition.
• Maintain daily inventory of Agency IT Assets.
• Work with IT Staff, HR and Regional Managers to ensure timely return of Advance Health IT Assets and related items, such as cases, chargers, etc.
• Serve as IT hardware asset management subject matter expert.

Required Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience in IT Asset Management
• Must have an active Secret clearance
