Title:  Advanced Excel VBA/SQL Developer – 1-2 Month Contract

Job Description:
Experienced Excel VBA/SQL developer with the skills necessary to build advanced, custom business applications using the power of Microsoft Excel and SQL. This experienced software professional will work with the IT Finance team to design, build, and implement tools and applications necessary in the budgeting process.

Projects:

• Collaborate with IT Finance team on the design and functionality of the various tools necessary in the budgeting process.
• Program VBA and SQL code necessary to ensure full functionality of budget process.
• Ensure integration into SQL environment while keeping data structures intact.

Minimum Requirements:

• 5+ years’ experience creating custom applications in Microsoft Excel using VBA
• Experience with the challenges of custom software applications
• Microsoft Excel expert (Advanced Functions, Pivot Tables, Vlookup, Power Query/Pivot)
• VBA expert (Functions, Sub Routines, Class Modules, User Forms)
• Experience with SQL Server (T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Views, Functions, Data Modeling)
• Ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and provide resolutions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be able to prioritize to meet tight timelines
• Finance/Accounting experience a plus
