We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist who will be responsible for creating and conducting necessary operational audits to assist leadership in monitoring, measuring and evaluating performance and quality of Ardon’s operations.  Ensures quality control by monitoring and reviewing call center communications to ensure compliance with all federal and state guidelines and company policies. Provides valuable feedback to management regarding opportunities for training and improvement. Maintains current knowledge of operational best practices.
 

Primary Functions:
01.    Member of the Quality Assurance Committee(QAC)
02.    Maintain a strong knowledge of Ardon policy and procedures.
03.    Maintain a strong knowledge of Ardon workflow best practices, including but not limited to call center operations, prescription intake and entry, benefits investigation and coordination, dispensing and packing/shipping. 
04.    Perform all IRR quality reviews with direction of departmental supervisors.
05.    Perform call reviews to evaluate adherence to company policies and procedures and strong customer services values.
06.    Audit call center operations for accuracy of data entry, completion of task, and correct documentation and follow through of work.
07.    Review of priority reports in the call center for accuracy and appropriateness.
08.    Document error tracking and review for trends, training and opportunities for improvement.
09.    Document patient satisfaction by tracking all complaints, compliments and survey responses, reviewing for trends, training and opportunities for improvement.
10.    Initiate timely, accurate, courteous, and concise responses to escalated inquiries.
11.    Recommend improved procedures and works with QAC to document updates and maintain current and accurate versions.  Distributes new and revised procedures to leadership as directed.
12.    Supports leadership with Policy and Procedure reviews and updates.
13.    Responsible for maintaining organizational QIPS and recommendation of new QIPS to QAC.
14.    Act as a liaison between Front End Operations and Back End Operations to coordinate resolution of internal department inquiries and provide order and workflow assistance.
15.    Supports IT and Operations with testing of software updates. 
16.    Actively participate and provide support as needed to leadership to ensure activities related to the company’s quality management program and quality improvement activities maintain priority focus and are effectively executed. This may include but is not limited to activities that promote objective and systematic measurement, monitoring, and evaluation of services and defined Quality Improvement Projects (QIPs) that may result from such efforts.
17.    Completes special projects and performs related duties as assigned. 
18.    Member of the Ardon Safety Committee
19.    Demonstrate regular attendance in conformance with the Ardon Employee Handbook standards, which may be revised from time to time and are essential to the successful performance of this position. 
20.    Maintain active Oregon license. Immediately informs supervisor (and Oregon Board of Pharmacy within 10 days) of any arrests, convictions, suspected or known violations of law, or any other conduct that might affect or has affected license status. Reports to Oregon Board of Pharmacy within 15 days any residence address or employment changes.
21.    Comply with the company’s Human Resources policies, Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct, and all department policies and procedures, including protecting confidential company, employee, and customer information; attending work punctually and regularly; and adhering to good safety practices in all activities.
22.    Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
