​POSITION SUMMARY:

The Mid-level Quality Assurance Analyst is primarily concerned with performing the QA role on projects and support work.  This position will manage the quality process within their work pipeline.  The Mid-level Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for attending project meetings, team meetings, writing automated test cases and passing information to other QA members on the team as necessary. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND TASKS: 

• From time to time will perform extremely complex boundary and data testing across multiple projects and in multiple environments
• Produces and presents detailed testing status reports to management
• Engages appropriate parties to escalate defects when needed
• Participates in team meetings and those regarding project(s)
• Coordinates all QA testing efforts within their pipeline
• Makes daily operational decisions with regards to testing, defects and risks on assigned projects

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have excellent logical, analytical and problem solving skills
• Must understand software testing and QA methodologies in great detail
• Must be a quick learner and self starter
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working in a collaborative team environment

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• 3+ years of solid QA/testing work experience
• Experience creating complex test plans and testing strategies
• Experience performing detailed requirements analysis
• Experience utilizing various testing tools such as defect trackers and test case repositories
• Experience working with Windows, SQL, Oracle, SSMS, SSIS and SSRS
• Experience in various SDLC’s such as waterfall, spiral or agile
• Experience in Salesforce
• Experience with Azure
• Experience or knowledge of PCI/PII with Credit Cards
• Experience with Angular or client web application testing
• Experience with QA Automation – Visual Studios preferred
• Experience or knowledge writing queries using T-SQL
