CONTROLLER/GENERAL MANAGER

King Fresh Produce, LLC, a full-service international agricultural company rooted in the Central Valley, is seeking an experienced, strategic-minded Controller/General Manager to join its dynamic team in Dinuba, California. Responsible for directing and analyzing financial affairs, this established key position will be responsible for assisting management in making educated economic decisions about the company’s future and supporting our growing, vertically integrated company from an accounting perspective.

Summary:

This position is responsible for performing all financial management duties in accordance with the USDA and CDFA guidelines, providing financial/accounting support to management as needed to insure effective relations with the committee and USDA. This position will also provide supervision of 10-15 office personnel and hands on general ledger accounting for multiple entities.  Other duties include: assisting in preparation of annual budgets and related tracking reports and cost accounting.  Also maintaining monthly account detail and reconciliations and assisting in preparation of statistical data.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills and work accurately under deadline pressure.  We are seeking a candidate with minimum 5+ years’ experience in senior-level financial management and preferably with manufacturing & agriculture experience.  B.A./B.S. degree in Accounting Finance/Business Administration or related field required.  Must be proficient in use of computer, including MS Word and Excel. Experience in Famous accounting system is a plus.
