Senior Security Engineer

Conexess Group is looking for a Senior Security Engineer to join one of our Global clients in Nashville, TN.  This individual will be subject matter expert on standard Infrascturcture and IT solutions including the areas of Alerting- Monitoring – Reporting – and Auditing of company applications and systems.  This is a Full Time position from day one and complete description/qualifications are listed below.  If you are interested in pursuing this position further, feel free to reach out to us today!

Day to Day:

• Design/Document Security solutions
• Implement designs from Architects utilizing best practice and standards
• Project discover and progress reports
• Escalation point for Support and Engineering Security activities
• Design- Perform- and Oversee penetration testing of all systems
• Maintain Security Roadmap, and manage connection security for LAN, Web site, intranet, and email communications
• Recommend, schedule, and perform security improvements, upgrades, and purchases
• Conduct research on industry best practices, emerging products

Skills and Qualifications:

• 5 + years of experience working as a Sr. Security / Networking Engineer or Specialist
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Wireless Security Professional, Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and/or other related technical certification
• Network Architecture (Routers, Switches, Wireless Access Points, Firewalls)
• Hands-on experience with devices such as switches, firewalls and routers
• Knowledge of TCP/IP and network admin/protocol
• MS Exchange, MS SQL Server, and Sharepoint
