Enterprise Systems Business Consultant/Project Manager 

Job Description:
KEY TASKS:
INVESTIGATION / RECOMMENDATION ON NEW TECHNOLOGY TO MEET BUSINESS NEEDS (50%)

• Compiling and documenting business requirements
• Research and assessment on tools in house as well as in the marketplace
• Writing up of business cases including financial analysis (ROI), project estimation, project timeline, risks, etc.
• Vendor interaction – coordinating demos, meetings, RFI / RFP, Information Security Assessment, etc.
• Creating a fact based recommendation and eloquently presenting the case

PROJECT MANAGEMENT (50%)

• Executing approved projects from “cradle to grave”
• Status reporting, project planning, resource planning and tracking, liaison for cross-IT and business teams, etc.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Leading and creating at least 3 business cases for technical projects
Leading and successful execution of at least 10 IT projects with at least 5 or more resources using basic SDLC methodology
Experience leading at least 5 vendor selection initiatives

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Generalist level understanding of ERP processes and functions in Supply Chain, Finance, and HR
• Superior communicator both orally and written
• Ability to speak at a technical and functional level
• Understanding of basic technical concepts in Infrastructure, Information Security, and Development
• Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects at once (5 or more)
• Prior experience as a BA or Developer
• Supremely organized with high attention to detail

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Consulting experience
• Focused, driven and ambitious/Excellent written verbal and interpersonal skills
• Strong understanding of IT financials / accounting
• MBA a plus
• Experience in PeopleSoft a plus
