Career Evolutions is looking for an Accounting Manager (IFRS) for a fast-growing international technology company headquartered in Phoenix, AZ. Full-time career opportunity with a total compensation up to 100K.
As a member of the Accounting Team, you will have great exposure when supporting the operational needs of the organization. And, you will prepare and provide information through sound financial reporting and maintain the accounting principles, practices and procedures established by the organization and monitor compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). The position addresses such accounting activities as AR, AP, payroll, general ledger preparation, financial reporting, and support of budget and forecast activities.
Responsibilities:
Actively participate and take responsibility in the monthly consolidation process, ensuring data quality and accuracy of accounting treatment within the company
Compile and analyze financial information to prepare journal entries and generate financial statements.
Coordinate monthly financial reporting of various entities.
Balance sheet reconciliations and analysis.
Process and approve employee expense reports.
Process multiple payrolls and supervise the collection, confidentiality and maintenance of payroll information, systems, calculations and data entry.
Provide data and serve as a resource for external financial and tax audit examination processes.
Assist in the implementation of general accounting process improvement objectives.
Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations and assist in the preparation of state and federal income tax returns.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics; CPA certification highly preferred
4+ years relevant experience in general accounting in an international environment, ideally with a high tech company or Big 4
Advanced knowledge in consolidation principles
Excellent knowledge of US GAAP and prior hands-on experience with IFRS
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and Hyperion Financial Management systems is preferred, advanced knowledge/user in Excel is required
Strong technical, analytic skills and attention to detail
Self-driven and highly motivated team-player with excellent communication skills in an international environment
Naturally curious, result driven, able to identify opportunities, follow-through, meet deadlines
Dynamic and ambitious, able to work independently and manage short/long term projects in a global environment as well as adaptability to different cultures
