The right candidate should have a history of writing robust, sophisticated Android apps, make and defend independent design decisions and function as an Android expert on the team.
Key Responsibilities:
Be able to take a concept and build an Android app from scratch
Have strong opinions on tools and frameworks and be able to articulate and defend them
Develop intuitive, usable, and engaging interactions and visual designs for mobile.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the design process
Participate in the development process from definition, through design, build, test, release, and maintenance.
Stay abreast of UX trends and look for creative ideas and inspiration in parallel analogous worlds.
Research and track advancements in mobile application design patterns.
Break any design problem down into viable actionable chunks and solve them with clarity and precision.
Qualifications & Requirements:
BS/MS in Computer Science, or related field required.
Strong track record of delivering high-quality product features on schedule.
Ability to identify and recommend key software tools required for development.
3+ years of experience in design, software development experience, and user experiences
Experience working within cross functional teams in both hardware and software engineering
Experience with data science application and population profiling.
Experience in the streaming media and web services fields
Familiarity with User Experience Principles
Advanced knowledge in Linux Configuration a must
AWS experience a (PLUS)
