Voice Support Lead

4.00 AM to 12.00 PM Shift

Talent Orchard LLC, a boutique talent acquisition consulting firm, has been retained under contract by a digital solutions and technology services company to identify a Voice Support Lead in Dallas, TX. Our client is an information technology services and infrastructure services provider who has global presence in more than 29 locations across the world. This would be full time opportunity based out of Dallas, TX and ability to get to the location is a must to qualify.

Responsibilities:

• Perform client consultation: plan, design, implement, and support the voice infrastructure
• Develop and implement the technical architecture and physical design of the network: analyze existing voice and data networks and recommend solutions
• Set up, configure, and test Cisco Call Manager, Unity, Call Manager Express, Unity Express, Cisco LAN switches (core, distribution and access), Cisco firewalls, routers and voice gateways, etc.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, upgrade, and provide solutions to complex hardware/software problems
• Assist in the management of projects using client’s project management methodology
• Ensure a stable performance environment for enterprise computer applications
• Participate in various IT projects intended to continually improve/upgrade converged network solutions
• Follow life-cycle oriented processes and procedures
• Regularly interface with technical and business staff of customers, including the project sponsor and stakeholders of projects in more complex engagements
• Serve as technical point of contact on customer support engagements
• Create and execute test plans to meet project requirements for assigned components
• Provide high quality content deliverables using the appropriate document templates
• Ensure solution is implemented as designed to the customer’s satisfaction and approval
• Work with Delivery Managers, Project Managers and customers to manage expectations and timelines to ensure expectations and commitments are being met
• Conducts/leads design workshops for complex designs to meet customer, business and technical objectives
• Proactively develops plans and activities to avoid problems
• Educates the customer on solution as appropriate throughout the life of the project or service life

Skills Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in business, computer science, a related technical degree or equivalent
• 8 years’ experience delivering complex technical solutions including planning, development, implementation and support
• Minimum of two years consulting experience
• Minimum of 5 years related experience in infrastructure/network environments, with some experience in network engineering (hardware and software), network security practices and designing, planning and implementing LANs and WANs using the latest technology
• Experience in Cisco PBX and/or Call Center systems engineering experience
• Experience with router configuration, knowledge of voice mail, unified messaging, ACD and IVR systems
• Ability to work weekends and/or off hours as necessary to meet clients' needs
• Ability to effectively communicate with clients
• Attention to detail on inventory and logistics is important
