Senior Systems Administrator

Fort Belvoir, VA

Top Secret Clearance Required

Talent Orchard has been retained by DEI as their outsourced recruiting organization to manage their hiring process and we are searching for a Systems Administrator with an active Top Secret Clearance for a new and exciting role supporting a DoD customer at Fort Belvoir, VA.  

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education with 9 years or more of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
• US Citizen with Active Top Secret Clearance
• Security+ Certification
• Understanding of Microsoft Active Directory Forest
• Experience implementing DoD mandated security configurations
• Experience installing and maintaining security patches on workstations
• Ability to provides first-level or end-user/customer telephone support for computer systems
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work effectively independently as well as within a team environment
• Demonstrated a strong work ethic and ability and willingness to take on new challenges

Additional Desired Qualifications:

• TS/SCI Clearance
• Working within a VMware datacenter
• Experience implement/maintaining enterprise level services including Microsoft DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory
• Experience creating, editing and applying GPOs
