POSITION: Senior Staff Accountant

POSITION OVERVIEW: The successful candidate will have a chance to work with a highly talented team handling many accounting related tasks including General Journal Entries, Cost Budgets, reconciliations, AP oversight, bank recs, and tons more!

POSITION DETAILS:

- Preparation and input of general journal entries for projects and corporate transactions
- Preparation and maintenance of job cost budgets (including variance analysis) and leadership in monthly job cost review meetings with operation team. Oversee maintenance and updates of budget change orders
- Prepare lot reconciliations (including design studio options) and record lot closing journal entries
- Assist/oversee accounts payable in managing project invoices and lien releases
- Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations
- Preparation of monthly GAAP financial statements and supporting schedules   


POSITION REQUIREMENTS: 

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, strong GAAP experience
- CPA preferred but not required
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
