POSITION: Senior Network and Systems Engineer

POSITION OVERVIEW: This role reports to the Director of IT and will play a critical part in the current initiatives to continue providing a top-notch infrastructure and enterprise system experience to over 25 locations. A successful candidate will add value in a blended and service focused role encompassing:

• End-user support and issue resolutions across the applications and infrastructure platforms (deskside and remote support as needed)
• Support and administration of Window Systems across the organization 
• Support and administration of VMWare virtual platform 
• Network Administration 

POSITION DUTIES: 

• Monitor and analyze network/system logs for security and performance issues
• Develop, execute and manage mitigation plans for technical issues 
• Will collaborate on any security, firewall or networking administration
• Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure
• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
• Configuration and support of Windows Active Director
• Systems Administration to include: exposure to Cisco VOIP telephony, CUCM, UNITY, UCCX, and UCCX Scripting
  • Configuration and support of SAN’s EMC storage 
  • Maintain security, backup, and disaster recovery strategies
  •  Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and create automation using Powershell, C#, or Java whenever possible
  • Support Data Center management 
• Other duties to empower the company 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• CCNA and MCSE certifications required
• Knowledge of Cisco routers, switches, multi-protocol routing concepts, VPN’s, IP/ARP/MAC, troubleshooting VLAN or physical connectivity for servers and other devices, troubleshooting Cisco access-list, NAT issues.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant combination of education and experience
