Talent Orchard has been retained by a well-established IT solutions and services firm in their search for a Systems Engineer II with specific experience in Net Backup and Tivoli Storage Manager to support a new contract for a Federal Customer in Pocatello, Idaho. This engineer must have an active TS Clearance to work on the customer's classified systems

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, deployment, testing, certification, patching, addressing interoperability issues, not only of the base data backup system, but for all features, components and application dependencies.
• To include Storage Area Network (SAN), Network Attached Storage (NAS), Tape, local disk, Fibre Channel, iSCSI, etc.
• Create and maintain backup infrastructure for both bare-metal and virtual machines with the appropriate SAN, network, or local storage configurations, using both OEM and third party tools on Linux and Windows environments.
• Provision/configure required backups for Linux and Window servers. Integrate systems with Windows and Linux as it applies to core service dependencies.  
• Engineer and implement solutions for multi factor authentication with the Customer's standardized software and hardware. 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum of six years’ experience with Net Backup and Tivoli Storage Manager experience required
• Active Top Secret Clearance required to start
