What You Will Do

Local and remote system administration support, system maintenance, installation and configuration of Unix Sun Blade and Windows workstations; Updating Unix NIS Master and Displayback servers; Troubleshooting problems and applying resolutions for 24x7 SLA customer base, SLAs that are due the next business day, and escalated tickets; Resolving desktop problems and service requests locally in the extended Ft. Meade campus and remotely using tools such as SMS, Remote Desktop connection, etc.; Installing software remotely via Marimba; Creating and modifying Groups and Distribution Lists via DRA; and  Following up to ensure completion of work within SLA timeframes.

You will work alongside other highly skilled Systems Administrators and Service Desk professional.

Who You Are

A technically focused professional that provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems.

Our minimum requirements for this role:

Security Clearance Required: TS/SCI w/ Polygraph

• Must have technical background in diverse operating systems (Unix/Windows/Vista), hardware platforms, and software packages.
• Shall have a Bachelor of Science Degree in a related technical field with 2 years of relevant experience or 6 years relevant experience with a High School diploma.
