Conexess Group is searching for a Business Analyst for our client in Chattanooga, TN.  The right candidate is expected to have extensive hands on experience in terms of requirements gathering and creating requirement artifacts. The candidate will work closely with leads, customers, IT and other partners to meet their project objectives and communicate status. The candidate will be required to maintain an in-depth knowledge of tools and data sources.

Skills & Knowledge

• Knowledge of Healthcare domains (Medical, Pharmacy, Claims, Provider, Customer (eligibility data), Client structure, Benefits and Clinical)
• Solid Knowledge of SAS and SQL/query writing skills

• Solid Knowledge of MS Excel, MS Access
• Experience with relational databases and data warehouses
• Ability to quickly and appropriately communicate concepts and issues both written and verbal
• Solid analytical skills
• Expert in requirements gathering
• Theoretical knowledge of tools used for data analysis
• Basic testing knowledge

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience working independently with limited direction / guidance (i.e. start-up environment)
• Demonstrated attention to detail, ability to compile and analyze information, and provide resolutions or recommendations for process improvement
• Proven track record of working closely with IT, systems analysts, peers & end users
• At least one year of experience in the industry focused in health insurance and/or health improvement
