Job Title: CS- Receiving Clerck
Reports to: Logistics Manager
Location: Jacksonville, FL
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, hourly
Summary
Entry, receive and process freight through our warehouse module on a timely manner.
Work Schedule:
Sunday – Thursday, 11:00pm – 7:00am
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure high quality customer service, professional communications, and interaction with drivers, vendors, customers, and co-workers at all times.
- Responsible for reviewing driver’s paperwork to verify freight being delivered is intended and can be handled by us prior to receiving.
- Responsible for providing drivers with docking information.
- Entry of all received cargo into warehouse module.
- Scanning all received straight bills, dock receipts and receiving’s paperwork into the back-office system.
- Notify Logistic Coordinators of cargo received for proper documenting of freight.
- Responsible for verifying all information entered to the warehouse module is correct for inventory reporting purposes.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or minimum 1 year of administrative support, customer service, or related supporting field.
- Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS Office Suite
- Knowledge of transportation/Household Good industry helpful
- Ability and desire to perform well in a fast-paced, fluid environment.
Experience:
- Knowledge of Windows, Excel and Word operating systems
- Minimum of (1) year experience monitoring multi-phone answering systems.
Language Skills:
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal.
Reasoning Abilities:
- Ability to learn and use certain job function related computer functions. Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently.
- Employee must have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited data exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of information and instructions in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
