Summary:
Career Evolutions is searching for an AR Specialist who will support the operational needs of the organization. This role helps design, administer and drive key processes that facilitate sell-to-collect processing, manage compliance activities and engage in direct communication with employees and clients. Promote effective working relationships with external customers, as well as internal partners including the Sales Operations.
Responsibilities:
Generate invoices
Analyze revenue recognition according to GAAP
Process customer payments
Prepare journal entries and related supporting documentation as part of the monthly financial close process (related to billing & revenue)
Monitor AR ledger accounts to ensure data accuracy and timely processing
Assist in preparation of quarterly review and year-end audit and tax schedules as required
Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Requirements:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or in business administration with an emphasis in accounting
1-2 years of working experience in Accounts Receivable or similar internship experience
Strong Excel, math and general technical savviness
Experience with NetSuite or Quickbooks a PLUS
Passionate and desires to make a difference starting day one
High energy – willing to jump in and do whatever it takes to get the job done all while possessing a positive attitude
Able to prioritize – meet multiple priorities and deadlines, all while effectively communicating with the Team
Strong communicator with a focus on customer service
