As a SEO Manager you will become a vital member to the SEO program, by being responsible for managing, growing, and optimizing organic search engine across a range of search engines, web directories, and etc. You’ll be leading a team of digital marketers to ensure measurement and proper execution is in play for our client’s SEO program.
Responsibilities
Manages SEO initiatives from concept to completion, ensure that all timelines and deliverables are met, develop historical benchmarks for each initiative, and measure against department and/or corporate objectives and ROI goals.
Provide strategic roadmap, measurement plan, guidance and direction to the team that align to overall corporate and departmental objectives to drive incremental revenue from digital. Oversees the day-to-day operations of the SEO team and manages the productivity of the department, including workflow prioritization.
Serves as a SEO liaison with internal stakeholders to execute and implement SEO programs for ChoiceHotels.com including, the development of business cases, project timelines, and measurement of performance analytics.
Audit SEO content published for ChoiceHotels.com for search engine optimization compliance. Analyze all site designs and provide recommendations, as appropriate, that would result in increased organic ranking and visibility in search results.
Working across multiple facets of the organizations (e.g., brand marketing, Digital Commerce, international).
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Digital eCommerce, Digital Marketing, Online Advertising or related field.
Minimum of 4+ years’ experience in SEO
Minimum of 2+ years’ experience leading a team
Web analytics software or similar web metrics tools (Omniture, Coremetrics, Optimizely, etc.)
Good familiarity with SEO related tools including: Google Webmaster Tools, BrightEdge, etc.
Understanding of SEO opportunities with emerging technologies including, social media, mobile search, video search, etc.
Strong consultative skills and the ability to achieve client business objectives across functional boundaries
An energized self-starter who can work independently; ability to lead and direct multiple projects simultaneously
Work closely with other departments in order to ensure company is SEO is optimized accordingly
Prior experience with digital marketing, advertising execution, and handling 8-digit ad spend budgets
Demonstrated experience with managing Website and mobile and other Digital Commerce directives
Demonstrated experience with digital campaign analytics and reporting
Experience or understanding of paid search and website measurement and analytics
