We are looking for a Design Body in White (BiW) project manager for a three years project for an Automotive multinational customer in Bucharest, Romania.  The project will start in January 2018.

Key Operational Responsibilities

He will be responsible for managing a team including on time and on budget deliverables. He will report to the Head of Automotive Department and General management, and interact with other PM.

Hands on experience on automotive design BIW projects and has already delivered a whole major project

Education

Mechanical Engineer from an accredited institution or similar work experiences

Technical Skills:

Already had successful projects in Automotive in Turn Key mode

Expertise in Superstructure, Underfloor, Trunk, hood, doors, hatch door etc

Good working knowledge of CATIA V6

Should be excellent in BIW Design & Development (Body panels and Body closures) by using Aluminum and SMC parts

Should have experience in DFx (Design for Mfg, assembly & Serviceability)

Soft Competencies:

Minimum 5 years of project management of BiW design – whole car

Fluent English

Available starting January 2018 in Bucharest

Leadership, communication, reporting and management high skills.

Other Requirements:

Willing to relocate to Romania for 3 years.

The qualified candidates need to hold a EU work permit or being a EU resident and capable of working legally in Europe.
