Associate Level Consultant – Financial Services Advisory

Talent Orchard has an opportunity for a well-rounded Junior-level professional with a background in Financial Services to join a growing team with a boutique management consulting firm, whose focus is to optimize business processes and information systems for their clients.  Our client delivers creative solutions, tailored to the specific needs of their client, so the opportunity to contribute to customizable solutions is very real.

Responsibilities:

• Act as POC with clients with a wide range of projects in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
• Help define and document project scope in line with client priorities and set structure for project deliverables
• Advise, support, and manage client teams to ensure successful project delivery
• Manage client expectations and ensure consensus on key decisions among all stakeholders
• Take a leadership role in internal initiatives including, but not limited to recruiting, internal operations, business development, and thought leadership preparation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university in systems and industrial engineering, finance, economics, accounting, or another strong technical and analytical discipline with a strong GPA
• 1-3 years of experience in financial services
• Understanding of consulting and how advisory services/engagements run

Desired Skills:

• Business Analysis experience
• Knowledge of IT systems
• Continuity Planning, Disaster Recovery and SWOT Analysis would be a bonus
• Prior Management Consulting experience – Big 4 would be a bonus
