Talent Orchard has been retained by a client to help them identify candidates for a Sr. Associate to join its IT Advisory service line in Washington, DC  

Our client helps executives and managers at all levels of government maximize their performance and efficiency in the face of ever tightening budgets and increased demand for services.  They have a professional staff  that applies traditional, cutting-edge approaches and methods to a variety of analyses. As part of the team, the Associate will utilize various methodologies and models to execute client projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Provide support to client in various Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution aspects.
Assist in the development and submission of the budget request including developing budget exhibits, compiling narratives, briefings, and performing analysis to support justification.
Prepare budget estimates to support additional mission requirements and justify fees.
May assist with prioritization of programs.
Support the development and management of client’s strategic goals, objectives and performance metrics at an enterprise level.
Facilitate interviews and focus group sessions.
Conduct data collection, research and analysis.
Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization).
Assist with business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.

Qualifications

A minimum of five years of professional experience.
A minimum of two years of Federal budget formulation experience.
Experience developing annual budget documents and reporting organizational performance.
Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
CGFM or CFA certifications, a plus.
Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited college or university in a related field.
Ability to obtain and maintain certain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degrees.
U.S. citizenship may be required. Ability to work in the United States indefinitely required.
Travel may be required.
Ability to work overtime required on occasion.
Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
Ability to obtain and maintain firm independence and abide by firm ethics requirements.
Meet or exceed continuing professional education (CPE) requirements.
