POSITION OVERVIEW: A successful candidate in the role of Compensation Manager will be a hands-on contributor in the development, design, implementation, and administration of both compensation programs. This role has a connotation to autonomous analysis of complex compensation plan including bonus and equity programs, provides recommendations to management, and acts as a compensation business partner. Strong expertise in analysis and design initiatives including projects, market analysis, research, job analysis, manage and/or lead global compensation programs, and other duties as assigned. Consultants will also be considered.
Key areas of contribution include:- Conducts job evaluation, salary equity, incentive plan, compensation administration and/or market studies
- Conducts domestic and global research and prepares analyses
- Participates in review and analysis of compensation plans, salary structures, and incentive plans for exempt and non-exempt employees
- Develops the total rewards program to promote retention and to attract top
- Ensure state and federal compliance
POSITION DUTIES:
- Provide project support through the life cycle of Salary Grade Audit and clean up job descriptions
- Assist in the development and design of compensation plans and bonus plans
- Conduct job evaluation (market pricing) analysis for a broad range of levels of exempt and nonexempt jobs
- Conduct research to define salary ranges for newly created positions both domestic and global
- Partner heavily with Human Resources
- Provide oversight and compliance of FLSA, and all other relevant state and federal compliance
- Be creative and construct highly competitive compensation plans
- Other duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- A minimum of 5 - 10 years compensation experience including market data analysis and job evaluation, salary administration
- Exposure to incentive, and bonus compensation design and plan administration
- Exposure to total rewards management including bonus and equity programs
- Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills
- Exposure to other areas of Human Resources
- Demonstrate MS Excel proficiency in use of spreadsheets to perform compensation task including; but not limited to design, detailed analyses, models, plan calculations, and reporting to support and or validate compensation programs
- 4-year degree with emphasis in business administration, human resources, or another field of study, with relevant years of experience compensation (is desirable)
- (CCP) Certified Compensation Professional (desirable)
- (CRP) Global Remuneration Professional (desirable)
- PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP (desirable)
