Career Evolutions is searching for a Business Intelligence / Portfolio Reporting Analyst for a fast-growing financial services company in Phoenix, AZ. This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity with compensation up to $85K plus a very comprehensive benefits package.
Job Title: Business Intelligence / Portfolio Reporting Analyst
Job Summary: You will be responsible for developing reports, dashboards, scorecards, and other data products primarily using Tableau. Reporting to the VP of Operations, you will play a key role responsible for developing and maintaining Tableau BI solutions within the organization and working with other team members to ensure performance and reliability. You will provide analysis of information obtained from the BI solutions and make recommendations that drive advancement within the organization. You must be capable of delivering high-quality deliverables, on time, with careful attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
Improve, maintain and monitor dashboards, reports, and scorecards using Tableau, based on business requirements
Support business understanding and driving key metrics
Report on operational metrics on a regular basis
Help with actionable insight and forecasting
Contribute with forecasts and reporting requirements for internal business users
Assist business with KPI’s and aid in maintaining a best in class SLA’s
Coordinate and interface with business units and understand analytical reporting needs of business stakeholders and effectively communicate (written and verbal) technical subject matter to non-technical business stakeholders
Apply data hygiene controls and ensure data integrity and accuracy
Analyze and document business intelligence needs within the company
Requirements:
Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of SQL
Carries a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline
Must be a team-player with superior interpersonal skills who can work closely with both technical development teams and end business users
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a quantitative/reporting within Operations and/or Analysis function, using one major BI tool, preferably Tableau
Knowledge and experience with data collection, data analysis and process streamlining
Demonstrated experience with business intelligence and/or data visualization tools (Tableau preferred)
Effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Experience documenting BI requirements and developing reports based on user requirements
Self-motivation to accept and complete tasks
Sense of ownership and responsibility towards problems and solutions
