What You Will Do

You will provide shift support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems. Manages IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc. Provides Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems. Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers. Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process. Configures and manages UNIX and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.

 

Who You Will Work With

You will work closely with other highly skilled and experienced Systems Administrators, Help Desk professionals, and Task Order Leads to provide support to a globally distributed CNO infrastructure and mission management services. We work with our customers to develop tools, support 24x7x365 operations, and engineer systems for the remote operations center. In addition you will work with other staff comprised of a diverse set of junior, mid-level and senior engineers, who are bravely at the forefront of technology innovation and are bold enough to disrupt the status quo. 

 

Who You Are

You have experience with LINUX administration, system troubleshooting, and VMWare administration.

 

Our minimum requirements for this role:

 

Security Clearance Required: TS/SCI w/ Polygraph

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university. Ten (10) years of System Administrator experience
  • Configure and manage UNIX and Windows (or other applicable) operating systems and install/load operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance 
  • Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process
  • Provides detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets
