Talent Orchard LLC, a boutique talent acquisition-consulting firm, has been retained under contract by a Federal Contractor to assist in identifying an Auditor.

This client helps executives and managers at all levels of government maximize their performance and efficiency in the face of ever tightening budgets and increased demand for services. We give clients creative, cost-effective solutions that enhance their acquisition, financial, human capital, information technology, data analytics, and performance management.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Provide critical audit support to a major intelligence community client by assessing supporting financial materials are consistent with basic financial statements. Responsible for reviewing accuracy of all agency financial reports. Ensure all manual or automated financial transactions, general ledger & subsidiary accounts, financial information systems, results of operations, and other information in support of the annual financial statements are consistent and accurate. Review sections of the Agency Financial Report Section, such as, Management Discussion and Analysis section, Required Supplementary information, Required Supplementary Stewardship information, and/or the Annual Statement of Assurance. Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization). Assist with business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.
 
Qualifications

 Minimum of 2 years of current and/or recent audit experience in audit/government accounting. BA/BS or Master’s degree from an accredited college/university in Accounting, Finance, or related field and eligibility to pursue the CPA exam. Applied working knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS). Strong communication, organizational and analytical skills. Knowledge of audit/accounting software. Must have a TS/SCI and the ability to obtain a polygraph. Ability to obtain and maintain certain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degrees. U.S. citizenship may be required. Ability to work in the United States indefinitely required. Travel may be required. Ability to work overtime required on occasion. Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time. Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally. Ability to obtain and maintain firm independence and abide by firm ethics requirements. Meet or exceed continuing professional education (CPE) requirements.
