Career Evolutions is searching for a Project Manager for a fast-growing technology company in Phoenix metro, AZ. Full-time, direct-hire position with compensation up to $85k.

You'll report to the Head of Technology and work directly with the Development and the QA Teams to obtain optimal efficiency and ensure alignment with the organization’s project management standards. You will be responsible for managing the design, development and implementation of web-based software and creative business solutions for national customers. You will be leading efforts related to business requirements identification, functional and process design, software development, testing, training, and software delivery. You will monitor all aspects of delivery from initiation to implementation, manage and develop relationships and maintain ongoing direct contact with key clients. You will at times serve as liaison between company and client for overall project and support activities, including status reporting, status meetings, and periodic onsite visits. You will be responsible for ensuring that delivery teams and resources deliver services on time and meet client needs.
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for overall IT project management including coordination, status reporting and stability of project work efforts
Work with business and technology subject matter experts to define scope, create accurate and inclusive estimates, develop budgets and project plans, and produce high quality project charters and other planning documentation needed for funding approvals
Direct project activities, conduct project reviews, manage risk, issues and timelines
Manage / Track project budgets, forecasts, and schedule to achieve project objectives and goals
Ensure that projects are in compliance with project management methodology (Agile) and that accurate and timely information is collected and reported regularly on project progress
Achieve project goals by collaborating with stakeholders at all levels. Demonstrate skills in conflict management and negotiation to achieve project goals and develop trust with all stakeholders
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Technology or Business
Scrum Master and/or PMP-certification is a plus (but not required)
5+ years hands-on work experience in an software development environment
Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Ability to adapt to changing priorities, demands, and tight timelines
Excellent organizational skills and proven planning, problem solving and decision-making skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment both independently and in a team
Excellent communication, professional, and interpersonal skills
