Job Summary:
We are looking for Registered Nurses to join the team of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This is an 18-bed critical care unit specializing in acute management of critically ill adult patients, with a primary focus on neurologic intervention (hemorrhagic and ischemic stroke/neurosurgery). Care ranges from young adults through geriatric patients, and includes standard and specialty equipment such as CRRT, hypothermia and rotoprone therapy.
ICU teammates benefit from a Magnet-level work environment with true collaboration and transformational leadership. Staff use self-scheduling software.
New graduates and experienced nurses are encouraged to apply.
Requirements:
• Active Kentucky Registered Nurse License or eligibility for licensure
• Previous ICU experience
• ACLS, BLS Required
• BSN highly preferred with policy in place
