Front End Software Engineer-Pharmacy

Columbia, MD

Talent Orchard LLC, a boutique talent acquisition consulting firm, has been retained under contract by a leading Federal Contractor (IT Systems Integration) to assist in identifying an experience Front End Software Engineer who will be part of the team which does complete redesign task of migrating multiple legacy systems & databases to one system and one database leveraging open source technology on AWS architecture. The development work is performed in Columbia, MD and ability to get to the location is a must to qualify for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Experience in technologies such JSP, HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Bootstrap, Javascript, AJAX, jQuery, and AngularJS.
• Create highly usable and compliant user interfaces.
• Create Wireframes, Mockups, and Prototypes.
• Collaborate with team to design new features and functionality.
• Monitor progress against deliverables, employing effective risk and issue management strategies.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with CMS stakeholders and other contractors

Required Skills and Experience:

• 4+years as a front-end developer.
• 2+ years using Agile methodology.
• 1+ years estimating, planning, and executing complex projects using Agile methodologies.
• Building strong customer relationships through Agile team(s) and personal performance.
• Developing front end systems with Section 508 compliance.
• Collaborating in a multiple contractor environment.
• Exceptionally strong communication skills, verbal and written. Includes the ability to effectively communicate complex information to audiences with varying technical and system backgrounds and at multiple organizational levels.

Desired Skills:

• Experience in UI design tools such as Axure, ingenix.
• Expertise in Secure Coding and Secure Development Life Cycle.
• Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• CMS experience.

Required Education / Certifications:
