We are currently looking to expand our team and develop Ardon team members in all areas of core business functions.

We are looking for a Supervisor of Pharmacy Operations to provide leadership to the operational staff including Clinical Pharmacists and pharmacist support staff. Supervisor will work with staff to promote a high degree of accuracy, efficiency in workflows, and elevate patient care. This position is responsible for assisting in quality assurance, process improvements, audits, accreditations, workflow, and providing support in other functional areas of the pharmacy operations.

Primary Functions:
1.    Perform functions of a Clinical Pharmacist (see Clinical Pharmacist JD)
2.    Provides day-to-day leadership and leads the pharmacist and operations team to success in achieving operational goals.
3.    Provides effective two-way feedback to motivate a high performance and productive environment
4.    Monitors staff members’ performance and schedules according to departmental standards
5.    Supports PIC with regulatory needs
6.    Oversees Plans, prepares, and devises work schedules according to budgets and workloads
7.    Maintains pharmacist schedule and approves PTO related requests 
8.    Develops a training program for operational technician roles
9.    Ensures all operational staff are properly trained/cross-trained and able to adhere to defined security procedures, and communicates sources of potential loss to management.
10.    Development of internal audits focusing on monitoring for adherence to procedures and promoting team standardization of processes
11.    Investigates, documents and tracks errors along with implementing policy changes for prevention
12.    Reports error metrics to QA monthly and QMC quarterly
13.    Active member of Quality Assurance Committee.
14.    Active member of Quality Management Committee.
15.    Audit PCA calls to ensure content aligns with PCA functionality.
16.    Utilizing audit outcomes to identify deficiencies and create solutions
17.    Partners with other departments such as call center and BEO to promote patient satisfaction and resolve issues
18.    Develops and manages departmental reports for volume, productivity, and other areas as needed
19.    With guidance from the Manager Pharmacy Operations, the supervisor will elect, train, develop, evaluate, motivate, terminate, and retain staff for the successful performance of the department and achievement of company objectives
20.    Ensures training of new employees on operational compliance and annual training for current employees
21.    Demonstrates the behavioral and technical competencies necessary to effectively complete job responsibilities. Takes personal initiative for technical and professional development
22.    Works with Contract & Compliance Office on compliance audits and documentation of training
23.    Analyzes data and statistics
24.    Ensures operations team complies with all state, federal and local laws with guidance from PIC
25.    Reviews and updates policies and procedures related to team functions
26.    Complies with the company’s Human Resources policies, Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct, and all department policies and procedures, including protecting confidential company, employee, and customer information; attending work punctually and regularly; and adhering to good safety practices in all activities.
27.    Performs other duties as assigned.
