Summary:
Aveshka is seeking a Management Analyst to support the Division of Workforce Development Human Capital Branch, within the office of the Chief Operating Officer.
Aveshka is supporting the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR). ASPR is a public health preparedness and emergency response organization in the Office of the Secretary at the United States Department of Health and Human Services. ASPR was created under the 2006 Pandemic and All Hazards Preparedness Act (and reauthorized in the Pandemic and All Hazards Reauthorization Act of 2013) in the wake of Hurricane Katrina to lead the nation in preventing, preparing for, and responding to the adverse health effects of public health emergencies and disasters.
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
- Build Recruitment Packages for:
- Federal (full-time employee, FTE) positions and interns
- Public Health Service Commissioned Corps (PHS CC)
- Special Government Employee (SGE), Appointment under Title 42, and Intergovernmental
- Personnel Agreement (IPA)
- Intermittent positions
- Security Clearance Vetting
- Manage the Resource Box and Perform Portal Email Updates
- Deployment Roster Reviews
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Familiarity working in remote office and/or multiple customer locations
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, Visio, and Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client servicer and response.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required
• 5+ years of experience in a human resource processing role, experience in a federal environment desired
• Previous HHS experience desired, including experience working with EHRP/CAP HR, HREPS and RMS systems
