Career Evolutions is looking for a Quality Assurance Testing Engineer for a growing company in Phoenix, AZ. This is an excellent contract opportunity with a competitive hourly compensation.

As an integral member of the software development team, you will act as the Subject Matter Expert for various features and/or modules of the product and leads testing efforts for assigned software development and maintenance projects within the organization as part of a defined software development life cycle.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for ensuring the software product deployed to production is of high quality with few defects.
Design and implement automated test solutions for new products.
Assist with design and execute manual tests for new and existing products.
Prepare specification documentation according to procedure and industry best practices.
Work with product development engineers to isolate issues by collecting and analyzing detailed process steps, log files, and data input.
Documents within the defined corporate tool(s) testing results in order to assist in defect resolution, working closely with the Engineering and Project Management team(s), as appropriate.
Evaluate problems identified in production and assist with resolution strategies.
Execute special projects, including but not limited to a functional and performance testing.
Perform other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent technical work experience.
At least 3-5 years of software quality Assurance testing field with strong experience with C#, Selenium, and XPath.
Competent in software testing theory, knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques.
Experience with change management, release packaging and deployment concepts.
Proficient in understanding written requirements, including use cases, supplementary specifications and requirements traceability.
Experience with issue/defect tracking and change management tools.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize workload and deliverables within schedule constraints to deliver results.
Self-motivated, action oriented, and actively pursues opportunities.
Experience in all Microsoft Office tools.
