As data analyst at HealthPrize you will manage, analyze, and report upon data related to our programs. These data are primarily related to: online and mobile user engagement (logins, selfreporting, quiz/survey completion, etc.), prescription refills (via copay card, pharmacy, or PBM databases), and physician prescribing (via IMS databases).

The successful candidate will have strong communication skills and be able to present data and insights in a clear and concise manner to the decision makers who are charged with acting on those insights- both internal and external. The further ability to advise and instruct colleagues on generating meaningful reports from the analytics is highly valued.

 

The Data Analyst will work on the User Experience team focused on the consumer. The Data Analyst will need to learn HealthPrize’s business quickly to perform analysis and provide actionable insights into user experience and client KPI measurement initiatives. These include advanced clickstream, user behavior, user segments, acquisition channels, and goal conversions

analysis. The Data Analyst will be responsible for utilizing tools such as Pentaho, Qlik and Google Analytics to gather and aggregate multiple data sources to create custom reports for various stakeholders.
 

Responsibilities:

Establish & maintain clear, insightful reporting on the key performance metrics across all client programs. Analyze and draw actionable insights from the data to acurately report key information to clients and to optimize the program performance.
 

• Manage and inform the analytics infrastructure that supports reporting across the platforms to serve internal and external channels.

• Conduct interviews with key stakeholders to identify and clearly define the goals of their relevant KPIs to measure against.

• Establish efficiencies in reporting templates that enable you to quickly provide on-thefly stats and reports as needed.

• Work closely with the client service, product, and technical teams to identify tagging approachs for accurate and more meaningful analytics.

• Assist sales, client service and product teams with insight requests as required.

• Communicate to key stake holders action items based on in-depth analysis and research.

• Identify business critical functions to measure, track, and segment to improve user conversion, retention and engagement.

• Provide guidance and documentation to stakeholders that use our platforms on using our data and analytics infrastructure to draw actionable insights from the data.

• Maintain a measurement framework and data collection strategy based on business objectives and focus to help drive sales.

• Ensure accurate data collection. Monitor data quality at an ongoing basis and make regular enhancements as necessary.

• Analyze user behavior and conversion paths data to identify opportunities for improvements in user experience.

• Create custom dashboard and reports reflecting thoughtful analysis and recommendations.

• Consult with business stakeholders to support their measurement and reporting needs

• Collaborate with development team to implement any custom tracking.

• Maintain and manage rollup reporting for the platform.

• Perform ad-hoc reporting as required.


Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree

• 5+ years of experience working in data analytics and reporting within a consumer-facing internet company

• Strong interpersonal communication skills to operate in a global operation across business units and external partners

• Distinctive problem-solving and analytical skills, combined with strong business acumen

• Genuine excitement for analyzing complex data sets and converting them into the information that drives business decisions.

• Demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects and to drive operational and strategic initiatives.

• Ability to work independently and solve problems with minimal support.

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to create dashboards and reports in an automated fashion

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

• Deep understanding of how to query MySQL using Pentaho or preferred MySQL GUI tool

• Experience with data visualization tools such as Qlik or Tableau

• Ability to articulate business and technical requirements to development team

• Ability to articulate key findings and insights to non-technical audience

• Working knowledge of major digital marketing channels for campaign tagging and reporting purposes

• Willingness to keep abreast of latest digital analytics best practices
 

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager

• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript

• Experience running A/B and multivariate testing

• Ability to code custom JavaScript to enhance out of the box tag management solutions

• Experience with search analytics (SEO)

• Prior work in pharma or healthcare is a plus.
