Sr. Web Developer (.NET)

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Design and Develop web applications
• Perform tasks that include technical design, code development, documentation, unit and integration tests, troubleshoot and bug fix and test plan generation
• Act as mentors for new and junior web developers
• Ability to plan and execute small projects independently coordinating with PM, QA and Infrastructure teams.
• Work together with colleagues on code reviews, integration testing, internal infrastructure, and process improvements
• Assist in production problem resolution as needed, including occasional off-hour support

Experience and Skills:

Required Experience:

• Previous work experience in developing websites
• Must have a sustained track record of delivering high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
• Must demonstrate a strong technical competency in an environment that values quality, commitment, growth, and innovation.
• The ideal candidate will be a forward-thinking member with 8+ years of strong web development experience in Microsoft .NET Technologies for mid to high-scale internet web sites
• Experience with code management tools
• Experience with website performance testing
• Excellent attention to detail and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and switch between tasks quickly
• Interpersonal skills to interact with team members
• Communication skills to work effectively with team members and other teams that includes QA and infrastructure
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• In depth working knowledge of:
  • C#/VB.NET
  • ASP.NET MVC, Web Form, Entity Framework
  • WCF, Web API
  • JQuery/JavaScript, css3
  • Oracle, MS SQL Server
  • Crystal Reports
  • SVN

Desired but not required:

• Microsoft Certification
• Knowledge of other programming languages
• Angular JS
• Knowledge of Content Management Systems
• Mobile application development
