Currently our client is implementing an automotive technical Network Assistance Center based in PORTUGAL which provides after sales services for their network of dealers in 15 different countries across Europe. 

The automotive technical Network Assistance Center carries out 1st level support to their country Retailers and for their After Sales teams of the passenger car business unit, providing a wide range of services.
 
Albelissa has been entrusted by our client to find an Automotive Technical Specialist for their Network Assistance Center in Portugal.
 

Role Description:

The Technical Specialist will resolve technical cases and handles retailers and automotive dealers inquiries in accordance with the company's policies and those of the Network Assistance Center. 

He/she will follow internal procedures and targets, in order to provide the retailers and dealers with the appropriate solutions in a timely, effective and accurate manner.

The Technical Specialist reports to the Operation Manager.
 

Main Responsibilities:

Provides technical support to dealers' network for electronic or mechanical problems on cars.

Manages technical product concerns by providing telephone technical assistance to mechanics aiming resolution

Telephone technical assistance to dealers' network for electronic or mechanical problems on cars.

Maintains technical information files, research and create technical literature

Supervises and reports network technical competency and participates in key technical training

Interface with Technical Department and participation in European regional quality technical meetings.

Requirements:

Degree of Mechanical Engineer with experience in Automotive and/or Technical degree from an accredited institution (Istituto Tecnico) with hands on experience on automotive parts as mechanic

Great understanding of cars and their engine, transmissions, brake, exhaust systems, air intake systems, ect. 

Smart Diagnostic Technician qualification would be desirable

Requires an intermediate level of IT skill (primarly Microsoft Office systems)

Fluent in Italian and English

Third language is an advantage

Availability to relocate to Portugal
