Job Summary: The Business Intelligence Developer works with both business and financial analyst in order to collect and transform requirements into views, models, reports and dashboards. Requires proficiency with complex T-SQL, views, SSDT, SSRS, Tableau, or similar reporting platforms.
Responsibilities:
Develop database objects structures (stored procedures and views) for data retrieval and reporting.
Support data engineers and DBAs when needed
Develop reports and dashboards using SSRS, Tableau, or other tools as necessary, following best practices for information delivery and dashboard design.
Manage meetings and workshops with business leaders to produce and elaborate requirements for business intelligence reporting.
Track, log and manage issues, bugs, and enhancement requests
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field strongly preferred OR 7+ years of progressive development may be considered in place of degree
Experience creating stored procedures, views, scheduled jobs and indexes
Experience with SSIS, AWS, Redshift, Yardi, Microsoft SQL server certifications are all a strong plus
Attention to detail and technical writing skills
Strong analytical, evaluative and problem-solving abilities
Flexibility and attitude to achieve firm deadlines
