JOB SUMMARY

Our client is a technology-focused leader in the financial space, and they are seeking a strong ETL Developer that has some experience working with IBM Infosphere DataStage, Informatica or comparable ETL platform.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the maintenance and documentation of new and existing Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes
• Maintain and enhance SQL and ETL code
• Serve as a Tech Lead on multiple, large integration and data publishing projects to ensure consistent design and efficient data processing
• Lead the Build, Test, and Implementation phases of projects
• Design, develop, maintain, monitor, and execute production ETL processes using IBM InfoSphere DataStage
• Investigate production ETL issues and work to determine the root cause of problems
• Perform process improvement and re-engineering with an understanding of technical data problems and solutions as they relate to the business environment
• Design and develop innovative data solutions for demanding business situations
• Analyze complex distributed production deployments, and make recommendations to optimize performance

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be legally authorized to work in the US without employer sponsorship
• Must have 4 or more years of ETL development experience
• Some experience with DataStage, Informatica or similar ETL platform
• Strong SQL skills
• Strong knowledge of extract, transform, and load (ETL) concepts
• Previous experience working in an agile environment highly preferred
