Description:

Aveshka is supporting The Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA) within the office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR) at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) located in Washington, D.C. We are looking to hire a Master Scheduler to support the Division of Manufacturing, Facilities and Engineering

Responsibilities:

• Rresponsible for the development, maintenance and daily management of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
• Update and monitor the schedule on a daily basis
• Maintain schedule that reflects the work to be done, including deliverables 
• Identify critical target dates used for planning and ensure work is sequenced logically
• Ensure schedule architecture and integration are adequate
• Confirm that constraints, leads, and lags are justified
• Monitoring tasks to ensure they contain the necessary level of detail (e.g. are duration estimates meaningful?} and that resource estimates are reasonable and available
• Critical path is logical and is calculated with reasonable float times
• Schedule projects to be accomplished with an acceptable amount of risk
• Coordinate activities with the CIADM and BARDA staff to ensure that the schedule is current daily
• Organize files and other written communications
• Take meeting notes and prepare correspondence for signature at the weekly product development coordination meeting
• Provide meeting notes/minutes, action items and schedules of activities personnel and groups
• Knowledge of product development of vaccines would be a plus but is not necessary.
• Domestic travel to coordinate activities

Required Skills:

Experience:

• 4 + years industry experience developing and maintaining large scale IT application development schedules using MS Project (2007 and 2010)
• 3 + years industry experience using MS Project to create WBS, baseline, track actuals, resource level, monitor dependencies, and produce gant charts used for executive level reporting
• Public Health or Pharma Experience
   

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health or related, Advanced degree preferred.
