Overview:
We are looking for  Lead Data Systems Engineer to help Aveshka support the Defense Intelligence Agency's (DIA) mission move from an application centric strategy toward a data-centric strategy and advance Defense Intelligence culture to focus on understanding data as a part of mission tradecraft, business processes and agency performance.

Responsibilities:

• Provide recommendations to simplify existing processes and automate where appropriate to achieve greater efficiency within mission and business operations.
• Make recommendations, as required, for evoking the implementation of industry best practices to be used jointly with the Government that are designed to ensure the highest quality of delivery and sustainability of the program and supporting projects.
• Capture and maintain processes, workflows, lesson learned towards improved IC collaboration and work force restructuring and training efforts.
• Support CM activities in accordance with CIO processes.
• Recommend data analytic improvements to support ops.
• Delver high quality capability and services which are deliberate, measurable and tailored to user needs while increasing effectiveness and reducing cost.
• Keep Government apprised of all risks associated with a projects time, scope, and cost.
• Implement risk mediation steps to manage and remediate unplanned high risks not previously identified and reported in weekly reports.
• Propose remediation timeline to restore risk standard.
• Utilize PMI standards and CIO approved SOPs and best practices in the Program/Project management activities under the PWS to include management and oversight of PM Life Cycle: Schedule, Financial, Quality, Resource, Communications, change and Configuration, and Risk.
• Ensure submitted requirements are thoroughly understood, documented, and submitted through the CIO approval process for completion by appropriate CIO organization.
• Deliver high quality capability and services which are deliberate, measurable and tailored to user needs while increasing effectiveness and reducing costs. 

Qualification:

• Must have an active/current TS/SCI and CI Poly.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent training.
• Seven years or more of specialized experience working on complex data/database projects as a data analyst, data architect, data scientist or database engineer.
• Produces and reports timely and accurate analyses at the appropriate level of detail to enable business decisions.
• Support the client with comprehending the context of its program data by extracting qualitative and quantitative relationships, including patterns and trends from large amounts of data and providing analytic support to help inform policy, rational decision making, and resource allocation. 
• Provide support for IT Strategic implementation, coordination of project management and communications support efforts across a matrixed organization.
