Conexess Group is aiding a Portland based client in their search for a Scrum Master. This is a long term opportunity with competitive rates and will be on boarded as a contract to hire. We’re hiring a Scrum Master to build a team into a well-functioning, agile group. The right individual will be passionate about technology, and is always looking to further their personal knowledge and expertise. They will also be comfortable executing against tasks that are occasionally ambiguous, but works independently to seek out needed information.

• Build a team into a well-functioning, agile group
• Ability to work with at least two teams as Scrum Master
• Work with Product Owner to evolve the product backlog for the team
• Work to remove roadblocks for the team Work with team to self-organize, i.e., create a working agreement
• Facilitate the Agile ceremonies necessary to help the team succeed.
• Help a team plan for a Sprint
• Help a team account for items committed; make sure no items are neglected or not accounted for
• Expect to also be a team contributor in some aspect
• Works independently to seek out needed information Is not the type to wait for others to tell them "what to do next", but who proactively looks to fill their work queue
