Job Summary:

The Financial Analyst is primarily responsible for the preparation, reconciliation and analysis of Benefit and Workers Compensation plans

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, establish priorities, work independently, and achieve target business objectives.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with carriers, TPA’s and internal departments.
  • Reconcile monthly premium invoices for all benefit plans and coordinate corrections with third party administrator.
  • Maintain benefits database.
  • Provide management reporting on a weekly/monthly basis
  • Provide support to Client Services for open enrollment periods
  • Maintain Worker’s Compensation payroll reporting policy databases
  • Reconcile monthly carrier invoices
  • Coordinate with Risk Department to review payroll reporting to carriers
  • Provide analysis of billing variances to Risk Department
  • Maintain WC Policy IDs by worksite location in PrismHR
  • Compile and analyze monthly loss runs.
  • Coordinate with WC Audit committee and reconciled policy audit reports
  • Reconciliation to the associated general ledger accounts
  • Miscellaneous job duties and projects as assigned.
Required Skills

• Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
• Basic knowledge of benefit plans
• Basic knowledge of Worker’s Compensation insurance
• General Ledger experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated, ability to work independently.

Education and Experience:
• AA or Bachelor's degree in business, accounting or finance preferred.
• And/or Related work experience
