Career Evolutions is searching for an Enterprise Business Development Manager for a fast-growing high tech company in Phoenix, AZ. This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity with compensation up to $150K + Bonus and excellent benefits.
An excellent opportunity for a professional looking to identify and capture new business and enabling a sales organization through your business development support. You will have previous experience driving business for a high tech research & development organization with a primary focus on development in Arizona and Western United States. Having worked in the cybersecurity and IoT industries, you will focus business development targeting the Chief Information Security Officer and the Chief Technology Officer Organizations.
Duties
Develop and execute a business development strategy under the direction of the CTO
Identify and capture potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities
Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments
Develop negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners' needs and goals
Close new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations
Drive business for the sales team via sales enablement and support
Support the HQ for CTO-related opportunities
Qualifications
Bachelors in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math. Masters preferred
Strong network of relevant client contacts and relationships with emphasis on such technical leadership as CISO, CTO, CIO
Thorough understanding of the IT environment with extensive connections and strong relationships with Fortune 1000 companies
10 years of experience in a business development leadership role and technology sales
3+ years of experience selling services related to the IoT
Previous experience negotiating complex deals greater than $1M in value and proven track record of exceeding sales goals greater than $2.5M
Previous experience using a CRM systems, i.e. Sales Force, etc
Global experience working in a multi-cultural environment a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
